Hey Oppo! I replaced my lower intake book on my 3.0i Z3 last week (it had a giant crack in the rubber). Well, now I have an airbag light!
I’m not familiar with the SRS system in the Z3. Does anyone know what I could have knocked around while working on the intake boot? I know it might be a wiring issue in the cabin but, since it just showed up, I think I probably broke something in the engine bay. I don’t even know where to start.
Have a picture of my car (not my actual car, but you wouldn’t be able to tell - identical).

Yeah - I’ve been through all the forums. But before I buy the Peake SRS tool and start to diagnose, I’d like to see if I knocked something loose under the hood. I can’t find where the front crash detectors are. Looked through the diagrams and I feel like I’m going crazy!

You’ll need access to one anyway to reset the light.

Sadly discovered that. :( I think I found a local shop who will scan it and tell me the problem area for cheap/free. Phew!
